We are Europe’s leading operator in natural gas transport, with a network of 38,000 km in Italy and abroad. We also deals with:

• storage, holding one-sixth of the European Union’s entire storage capacity
• regasification, where it ranks as the third largest European player, managing (or co-managing) an estimated annual capacity of 28 billion cubic metres, including the Ravenna LNG plant.

With over 80 years of experience and our positioning, we want to be a benchmark and an example of sustainability in the construction and management of energy infrastructures, in Italy and in Europe.

In line with our purpose, “Energy to inspire the world”, our medium-long term ambition is to develop and consolidate energy infrastructures for a sustainable future. We promote the energy transition with investments in decarbonized gases (biomethane and hydrogen), adapting our infrastructures with a “multi-molecule” perspective. We are also active in energy efficiency and CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) technology.

Our sustainability strategy also includes reducing direct greenhouse gas emissions to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040, and Net Zero for all emissions (including indirect ones from suppliers) by 2050.
